Chinese Five Spice - Chinese Pork Spare Ribs in Char Sui Marinade

This recipe couldn't be any easier or quicker - or tastier!!

Serves 4   (Multiply as required)

1kg of belly pork spare ribs, cut in half
Handful of finely chopped fresh spring onions & coriander

Pureblends 1,2,3 Chinese Five Spice Marinade:

2 tblspn Pureblends Chinese Five Spice*
1 tblspn of peanut oil
3 tblspns water
2 tblspns hoi sin sauce
3 tblspns tomato ketchup

In a bowl mix together all the Pureblends Chinese Five Spice marinade ingredients, hoi sin and tomato ketchup until well blended.   Add ribs into bowl and mix till they are well covered.  Place ribs, skin side up, and all the sauce, in an oven proof dish.  Cover and refridgerate for up to 4 hours.

Heat oven to 160?C.  Remove cover from ribs, place in oven and bake for up to 2 hours, or until fully cooked.  Place ribs on serving platter, drizzle with any remaining cooked sauce, sprinkle with coriander and spring onions.  Serve with steamed rice and asian greens.
